4.8. The gauge of temperature of a liquid
THE GENERAL DATA

Site of the gauge of temperature on the engine 3F-E

1. The screen wiper electric motor
2. The gauge of level of a brake liquid
3. The electric motor of a cleaner of headlights
4. Датчки liquid temperatures
5. The gauge of pressure of oil

Site of the gauge of temperature on the engine 1FZ-FE

1. The gauge of level of a brake liquid
2. The relay block
3. The gauge of temperature of a liquid
4. The gauge of pressure of oil

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If the index does not register temperature check up safety locks.
2. If the gauge shows a condition "Hot" ("hot") right after start-up of the cold engine disconnect a wire from the gauge.
3. If the indication falls, the gauge replace.
4. If the indication remains overestimated the reasons can be short circuit on weight of a wire of the gauge, or malfunction of the index. On the engine 3F-E the gauge is located under the thermostat.
5. If the gauge ceases to show temperature after full warming up of the engine (after approximately 10 minutes after start-up), and safety locks are serviceable, arrive as follows.
6. Stop the engine, disconnect a wire from the gauge and a wire piece close a gauge wire on well cleared site of the engine.
7. Include for short time ignition but the engine do not start.
8. If the index shows now "Hot" the gauge replace.
9. If gauge indications are absent, breakage in a chain, or malfunction of the gauge (subsection 11.1 see) can be the reason.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the gauge.
2. Turn out the gauge and turn new, reliably tighten. Hermetic not to use.
3. Attach a wire.
4. Fill in a liquid, check up gauge indications.
