Cars are equipped by system of electronic injection of fuel (EFI-system) into which three subsystems – system of giving of fuel enter, system of a fence of air and an electronic control system.

Fuel system

The fuel pump located in a tank, provides fuel giving under constant pressure in the distributor from which fuel is in regular intervals distributed on atomizers. From the distributor fuel moves in inlet channels of cylinders through atomizers. The quantity of injected fuel is supervised with a split-hair accuracy the electronic block of management (ESM-BLOCK). The regulator of pressure of fuel provides change of pressure of fuel according to depression on a soaking up collector. The fuel filter is mounted between the fuel pump and the distributor of fuel and intended for clearing of gasoline and protection of units of system of injection against failure.

System of a fence of air

The system of a fence of air consists of the air filter, the case throttle заслонки and the channel connecting these two units. The gauge of temperature of air (IAT. The gauge) traces temperature of selected air. The signal from the gauge arrives on the electronic block of management which provides a dosage of injected fuel according to air temperature. Throttle заслонкой the driver operates. In process of opening throttle заслонки speed of arriving air that leads to fall of its temperature increases. The gauge registers change of temperature of air and gives a signal on block ESM which in turn increases a dose of injected fuel.

Electronic control system

Management of electronic injection of fuel and other systems is provided with the processor ESM-BLOCK. The ESM-BLOCK structure includes the microprocessor. On the block signals from variety of gauges which trace such parametres as air temperature on an input in cylinders, an angle of rotation throttle заслонки, temperature of a cooling liquid, number of turns of the engine, speed of movement of the car and the oxygen maintenance in the fulfilled gases arrive. On the basis of this data the management block defines duration of injection of fuel at which maintenance of an optimum parity of gasoline and air in a gas mixture is provided. Some of these gauges and the corresponding relays working from the block of management, concern system of decrease in toxicity and the system of electronic injection of fuel are not a part.
