2.33.2. A manual brake Check and adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Translate the transmission lever in neutral position. Having made moderate effort the lever of a manual brake, count up quantity of clicks of a full speed of the lever. If the quantity of clicks does not correspond to norm the manual brake should be adjusted.
2. Check up work of a manual brake, having established the car on an abrupt slope. If the car rolls down, adjust a manual brake. The adjustment order is described in subsection 8.13.
3. On cars with back disk brakes the manual brake should be checked annually. For this purpose lift the car and remove back wheels and disks of brakes (subsection 8.5 see), take aside and fix supports.
4. Check up a thickness pads a manual brake (it is specified by arrows) which as a rule wear out only at wrong adjustment. If the thickness of overlays is less 0,8 mm pads it is recommended to replace. Check up a condition of a regulator and springs.
